The City of Quitman invites the community to attend a Memorial Day Ceremony on Monday, May 25 at 10:00 a.m. at the Wood County Courthouse, located at 100 S Main St., Quitman, TX 75783.
Hosted by the Wood County Veterans Memorial Committee, this ceremony is held in solemn remembrance of the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to the United States. Their sacrifice secured the freedoms we enjoy each day, and this time is set aside to honor their legacy.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to attend as we come together in gratitude, remembrance, and respect for those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
